Ingredients

For the Dosa batter:

  • 2 cups of rice
  • 1 cup of urad dal
  • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • Water as needed
  • Salt to taste

For the Chinese Dosa:

  • 1 cup of Finely Chopped cabbage
  • 1 cup of finely chopped carrot
  • 1/2 cup of finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped capsicum
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp red chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • Salt to taste

For the Pizza Dosa:

  • 1/2 cup of pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped capsicum
  • 1/4 cup of sliced black olives
  • Salt to taste

For the Schezwan Dosa:

  • 1/2 cup of Schezwan sauce
  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped capsicum
  • Salt to taste

For the Pav Bhaji Dosa:

  • 1/2 cup of Pav Bhaji masala
  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped capsicum
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

For the Dosa batter:

  • Soak the rice, urad dal and fenugreek seeds in water separately for 4-5 hours.
  • Grind the urad dal and fenugreek seeds in a mixer until it becomes a smooth paste.
  • Grind the rice until it becomes a smooth paste.
  • Mix the urad dal paste and rice paste together in a bowl and add salt to taste.
  • Cover the bowl with a lid and let it ferment overnight.
  • The next morning, mix the batter well and add water as needed to get the right consistency.

For the Chinese Dosa:

  • In a pan, heat some oil and add the finely chopped vegetables.
  • Add the soy sauce, red chilli sauce, vinegar and salt.
  • Cook until the vegetables are soft and tender.
  • Spread the dosa batter on a hot tawa and cook until golden brown.
  • Add the cooked vegetables on top of the dosa and fold it in half.
  • Serve hot with some tomato ketchup.

For the Pizza Dosa:

  • Spread the dosa batter on a hot tawa and cook until golden brown.
  • Add the pizza sauce on top of the dosa.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese, finely chopped onion, capsicum and sliced black olives on top.
  • Cover the tawa with a lid and let the cheese melt.
  • Serve hot with some garlic bread.

For the Schezwan Dosa:

  • Spread the dosa batter on a hot tawa and cook until golden brown.
  • Add the Schezwan sauce on top of the dosa.
  • Sprinkle the finely chopped onion, capsicum and salt on top.
  • Cover the tawa with a lid and let the sauce soak into the dosa.
  • Serve hot with some chilli garlic sauce.

For the Pav Bhaji Dosa:

  • Spread the dosa batter on a hot tawa and cook until golden brown.
  • Add the Pav Bhaji masala on top of the dosa.
  • Sprinkle the finely chopped onion, capsicum and salt on top.
  • Cover the tawa with a lid and let the masala soak into the dosa.
  • Serve hot with some buttered pav bread.
