Travala.com Accepting Remittance in Cryptocurrencies Cardano and Stellar

  • The famous hotel Booking site Travala.com has announced that it will now accept payments in Stellar Lumen (XLM) and Cardano (ADA).
  • On 28th October, they also accept payment in cryptocurrency Komodo (KMD).
  • The addition of the three cryptocurrencies as a payment option on Travala.com extends the lists of the blockchain-related sites of Travel Booking.

The site started accepting payments in virtual currencies such as its own token AVA, Bitcoin, Ripple, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, True USD, Tron, Litecoin, BNB token, and NANO. The previous month, the site added ZCoin and WAVES. The addition of cryptocurrency Cardano comes as a surprise for the Cardano Foundation.

Travala.com is crypto-friendly Hotel Booking website, it started on the NEO platform before coming to the Binance. This September, the site migrated to the Binance chain and is continuously working to encourage the use of virtual currency as a mainstream currency. After moving to the Binance platform the work gets more motivation.

As per the CEO of Travala.com, Matthew Luczynski stated,

“As the world’s leading blockchain-based hotel booking platform, we’re thrilled to support Binance Chain in a common mission to grow the blockchain ecosystem and to promote the adoption of cryptocurrencies globally.”

The booking site is started to accepting payments from credit cards, Pay Pal and debit cards. The site after adding ADA and it also added more than twenty virtual currencies in its remittance option. The travel booking site explains itself as “one of the leading open networks for storing and moving money” and the travel booking site was started in 2017. The site has done alliances with the blockchain-related events and projects. Futurama Innovators Montenegro, which a new travel partner of the site, is a virtual currency area event and in this many chiefs talk about the crypto industry and the regulations related works in June.

Travala also made collaboration with Korea Blockchain Week 2019 which took place in Seoul and the attendees of the events got a discount of 40% on their hotel booking. In August, the website connected to the Priceline partner network and it helped the website to get the 700,000 more hotels on its list. With the help and encouragement of the blockchain technology, the website is turning the travel industry more cost-effective, a loyalty event related to its own token AVA and making the payment mode secure.

The website is leaving its mark on a global level and as per the website, the travelers can make their stay booking in more than one and a half million hotels and it has more than 90,000 destinations in around 230countries around the globe. Directly connecting with hotels saves the commission fees and the customers also save because of the price which is lower up to 15 to 40% than other travel booking sites present online.

Many companies are adding crypto as a payment mode but it is in very slow mode, but now the companies are seeming to realization the use of the cryptocurrencies. As Travala is advertising the utilization of the cryptocurrency for the remittance of travel booking online. They are also advertising their customers and merchant partners to save money.

On the booking made by customers up to 7 November and to encourage the alliance with cryptocurrencies including XLM and ADA, the customers will get 5% of the ADA and XLM back.
