The Hotel Eiffel Blomet is in the heart of the 15th Arrondissement. We arrived in Paris on March 3rd at down under a cold below 6 degrees. We could see the lightly lit façade, as the Hotel stood out on Blomet Street.
The building is near by Bal Blomet, a famous Jazz Age cabaret bar, which welcomed Josephine Baker, Miró and sculptor Pablo Gargallo and others. The hotel was project by an A team of well known hoteliers, and the interior architecture has been created by Bruno Borrione (of the hotels Prince de Galles and Royal Monceau).
At the entrance we noticed a fine Art Deco elegance. To the left, the reception; to the right, a cosy area mixing history, refinement and modernity. A beautiful space heated by a modern fireplace lit in soft colors, beige tones with gold and some details in strong tones. With a vintage touch inspired by the 1930s, period magazines, books and records. Another point for design, which balances the vintage with the modern in a subtlety that generates well-being. The honesty bar concept makes guests feel even more at ease. Swimming pool, spa, sauna, hammam and gym in the basement.
Hotel Eiffel Blomet has 87 rooms in different sizes and moods. We stayed in the Junior Suite, on the 7th floor, in a very spacious and beautiful room, the carpet with warm foliage and a black gray sofa in the living room, the windows with a touch of cream and persimmon give a warm tone when the light comes in the morning, with private terrace connecting the balcony from the bedroom with the hallway and living room. Paris Fashion Week’s shows invitations.
The super-spacious, modern bathroom with a touch of vintage design hardware in the tub and the black-and-white combination of the tiles with the sliding mirrored door on both sides was the highlight of the suite’s décor.
