My way of life is that of Optimalism. I’ve written before about it, but here is a quick recap on it’s positive power:

What is Optimalism…?

Optimalism is the combined meaning of the following words: Optimum Best; most likely to bring success or advantage.

Optimism The quality of being full of hope & emphasising the good parts of a situation, or a belief that something good will happen.

Optimise: To make something as good as possible.

Optimist: Someone who always believes that good things will happen.

Optimal: Best or most favourable.

‘What Optimalism Means To Me… A set of principles to live by that produce an optimal state of being. Follow these principles & you gain access to an optimal life’

 

Further Developments…

To be optimistic is when one expects the best possible outcome from any given situation.

To remain optimistic in life is a skill that can be practiced, honed & mastered.

This is certainly a vital skill & studies have proven that those who remain optimistic are less susceptible to illness & disease.

Laura Kubzansky Ph.D., M.P.H. is Associate Professor of Social & Behavioral Sciences & Director of the Society & Health Psychophysiology Laboratory, is at the forefront of such research.
