So it's no secret that I've been away for quite some time. I can't really give an excuse as to where I have been or what I've been doing. There was no family emergency, no long hours at work, no travel, etc. None of that. Instead I have been sitting at home, getting fat and lazy. Gaining back every ounce of what I had lost, and then some. Looking back through this blog, I've had many false starts. I had good intentions to get back into the gym, to lose weight again, but just no motivation. I'd count my calories for a few days, then drop off again. Say I'm going to go to the gym, and then I'd find a an excuse to be too busy or just decide I didn't want to go.
I decided to wait until I was a little further into a diet and workout routine before coming back onto the blog. I didn't want to give another false start. I've already looked flaky enough as it is. So here I am again. I've been back in the gym and counting calories for about 6 weeks now. I've lost approx 13 lbs since then. Its going slower than I would like, but it is going. And I know that it's important to lose slow and steady to have the best chance at keeping it off. I'm currently working out about 3 days a week. Now that I'm back into the routine, I'll start going 4-5 days a week. I forgot how good working out makes me feel, and how much more energy I have when I work out regularly.
So, it's good to be back. I look forward to seeing you guys here on a regular basis, and appreciate those of you have stuck around following me and subscribing in my absence.
I'm considering starting a YouTube Channel with a video blog. Any thoughts on that? Do any of you have a vlog? I'd love to subscribe and take a look at your channel and could definitely use some advice and insight on starting my own.
