Anastasia Aleksakhina, Digital Marketing student, tells us about her experience studying the programme at NZIE.   Personal experiences with the Digital Marketing course at NZIE   As I have a rich marketing background and also experience with digital marketing in one of the world’s biggest international companies, I can truly assure, that the course content, provided by NZIE is 100% accurate. The course is taught by experts from the industry and we study  essential subjects and majors gaining  practice in the current areas that every digital marketer needs to know! From social media marketing, digital marketing landscape, trends analysis, to creating our own website – in one of the most used and complicated platforms – this course offers a wide range of useful knowledge that can be applied straight away in real life!   The tutors   The tutors are really great; I’m getting a very good education from this course. What I like the most in this course is that they are not teachers by profession, but they come from the digital marketing industry in which they’ve been working for more than 20 years! They share all the good practices which they experienced and educate us with the most accurate technical information from the industry. Tutors share a lot of real-life examples; we have a great workload in class – individually and in pairs – creating our own websites, developing digital marketing campaigns, working with platforms and websites which big companies are working with on a daily basis. And we even have additional speakers which come from the industry to share their knowledge with us. I am more than satisfied with my tutors and the course content that they share with us!   The classes   What I like about my class is that it is small – we are around 15 students – and many of us are from different countries. Each student has incredibly diverse experience! There are several nationalities in class. Some students come from countries like Chile, Korea, India, Philippines and New Zealand… I am from Russia and each one of us has got different knowledge and perspectives of Digital Marketing! Some of my classmates have experience in web design, marketing, social media promotion and much more. It is really interesting to share knowledge with each other during the class. We can observe and gain more experience from each other and apply the best practices from different countries and industries – ISN’T IT GREAT?!
