Test Engineer

We are looking for candidates, who has expertise in SIP and Voip Testing and hands on experience on PBX testing. Candidate should mix of Automation and Manual QA experience

Responsibilities:

Testing of Mitel and 3rd-party CTI applications for PC and mobile devices.

Testing of Mitel VoIP PBX Solutions from end to end.

Mimicking setups according to the customer deployments and reproduce complex customer defects in lab.

Generate new feature test lists as per requirements

Execute integration and regression tests

Test of new functionalities according to the specifications(SRS/FRD)

Analysing malfunctions and troubleshooting setup issues

Register bug reports

Validating the interoperability between Mitel and Third-party products which covers IP-PBX, SIP Gateways, SBCs, SIP Phones, Contact Centres, Call Recorders etc.

Work proactively with the partners to identify the setup as well as test requirements and troubleshoot the issues that may popup during the testing

Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure will be an added advantage

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in Software Testing

Technical know-how in VoIP and TDM telephony and CTI,CSTA,TAPI

Excellent know how in Session Initiation Protocol – SIP, Real Time Protocol(RTP)

Excellent knowhow in all kind of telephony feature call flows like Enquiry, Call Waiting, Intrusion, Call Completion, Conference Call, Transfer Call etc.

Excellent knowhow of ISDN Call processing, like Base Call and Supplementary Services

Knowledge of CSTA, TAPI and CTI applications

Excellent Knowledge on testing end to end UCC solutions and various IP PBX servers like ShoreTel, BroadSoft, Asterisk, Skype for business etc.,.

Troubleshooting and fault tracing techniques (Wireshark,tcpdump etc.,)

Knowledge on Network infrastructure(DHCP/DNS)

Knowledge on Linux operation system, Microsoft Windows server and client operating systems

Administrating and Operating Citrix/Hyper-V virtualized environment

Administrating and Operating VMware vSphere environment

Knowledge on Bug reporting tools like Jira, ClearQuest, Team Track etc.,

Experience in Agile methodology and in scrum teams
