Bihar is located in Eastern part of India, bordering Nepal. It is divided by the River Ganges. Patna is the capital of this state. It has numerous educational institutions along with some private and government universities. It has also one of the IITs. Most of the candidates came here for accessing higher education from different places. This state has the literacy rate of 63.4 percent.

Entrance Exams

In the state of Bihar, Admission into engineering courses will be done through state level and national level entrance exams. BCECE is the state level entrance exam and JEE Main 2024 is the national level entrance exam through which candidates will get admission into B.Tech courses.

For admission into IITs and NITs, candidates will have to appear in JEE Main Exam. BCECE 2024 will be conducted by the BCECE Board. For admission into the M.Tech course, Candidates can appear in GATE 2024 exam.

B.Tech Admission 2024

Candidates who wish to be admitted to the entrance examination must meet the eligibility criteria set forth below.

• The candidate must be a citizen of India
• The candidate must pass 10 + 2 or his equivalent exam of a recognized painting.
• The candidate must pass the Intermediate with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
• Candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% points (45% in the case of reserved categories).
• Possible candidates may also apply.

Counselling

Candidates when getting the result of the entrance examination and get the score or rank card of the exam, they can apply for counseling thru the online or the offline mode.
