IBPS SO Nationality/Citizenship

IBPS SO Age Limit 2023

Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale I

A Postgraduate Degree in Hindi or Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Graduation level.

Law Officer Scale I

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) and enrollment as an advocate with Bar Council.

HR/Personnel Officer Scale I

  • A Graduate degree and a 2-year full-time Postgraduate degree/ Postgraduate diploma in any of the Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations and HR/ HRD/ Social Work/ Labour Law.

Marketing Officer Scale I

  • A Graduate degree and Full-Time MBA (Marketing) / Full-time 2 years in PGDBA/ PGDBM with specialization in Marketing.

Exclusions

Candidates with the following assets will not be eligible for EWS category reservations:

  • Ownership of 5 acres of Agricultural Land or more.

Residential properties are eligible for a mortgage: flats over 1000 sq. ft., plots over 100 sq. yards in municipalities and plots over 200 sq. yards elsewhere.

If a “Family” owns property in different locations or cities, the land or property holding test will combine them to determine EWS status. To claim the reservation benefits under EWS, candidates must provide an Income and Asset Certificate issued by a Competent Authority. Only certificates issued in the prescribed format by one of the Authorities specified by the Government of India will be accepted as proof of EWS category eligibility.

The definition of “Family” to determine EWS status includes the individual seeking reservation benefits, their parents, and siblings below the age of 18 years. It also encompasses their spouse and children below the age of 18 years.
