XAT 2023: XLRI appoints Prof Vishwa Ballabh as convener

XAT Exam 2023: Dr Prof Vishwa Ballabh, faculty of economics at XLRI, is the new XAT exam convenor.

XAT or Xavier Aptitude Test is conducted by Xlri Jamshedpur, the oldest B School of the nation, for more than 7 decades on behalf of XAMI. XAT is the most popular test for aspirants of management programmes after CAT (Common Admissions Test) which is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIMs).

Dr. Vishwa Ballabh, has done his Ph.D. (Agr.Eco.) from IARI, New Delhi, and is a  faculty of Economics and Chairperson Centre for Rural Management, XLRI, Jamshedpur since 2006. Dr Vishwa Ballabh has various journal articles and scholarly books to his credit. Courses taught by Dr. Ballabh are Economic Environment of Business; International Business Economics; Strategies of Cooperation; Macroeconomics; Managerial Economics; Macroeconomic Theory and Policy and Agripreneurship.

XAT 2023 Dates and Accepted by 

The dates are yet to be announced by XLRI. Our prediction is that XAT-2023 will be held on Jan 8th, 2023. Students can consider this as a tentative date and plan accordingly however we shall confirm the exact dates and time once there is an official announcement.

Along with the growing popularity of XAT among MBA aspirants more and more management institutes are now accepting XAT scores to shortlist students for the admission process be it MBA or PGDM or PGP. Currently 90-100 top B Schools of India accept XAT scores for the selection process of new batches.
