The  Protection Force () in Dadar has arrested a section engineer attached to the accounts department for allegedly siphoning off around Rs 70 lakh from the  accounts of railway employees. The fraud came to light after he was allocated new duties within the department and his successor took over the maintenance of employee PF accounts. The accused has been remanded to five days in police custody. Senior divisional security commissioner of  (CR), KK Ashraf, confirmed the arrest and said a probe is under way.
