Should Teenagers Have an After-School Work?

Should Teenagers Have An After-School Work?

Nowadays many people believe that students should have an after-school job to gain experience before they graduate. Others believe that students should take care only of school homework and not for a job. Both opinions have advantages and disadvantages, so let’s find out which option is better.

Let’s start with the first opinion. Some pros are that if a Teenager has an after-school work he would learn how the world works and be more ready when he grows up and face life problems. Also, a kid who works an after-school job would have his own money to buy things he likes or to help the family.

So now let’s continue with the second opinion. The advantages are that if a teenager doesn’t have an after-school job he would have more time for homework and study to be a better student. Also, he would have free time to go out with his friends and enjoy life.

My opinion is somewhere between. For me, if the teenager wants a job it would be good for him to work in the summer holidays. For example, I was helping my dad who works as a  security system installer, and that give me experience and money.
