This is one of the top end hotels on the island and comes with all the 'bells and whistles' and yes, it's luxury and no, it's not cheap. It's well worth though, as long as you can afford it. There's an almost exclusive beach in front of the Hotel and the location is not too far away from the Santiburi golf course, the airport and Fisherman's Village. There are also plenty of good restaurant options near the hotel in Maenam.
If you can afford to splash out, this hotel should be high on your list of options.
