Custard Powder Halwa recipe Preparation steps

Custard Halwa is very easy to prepare takes less time also and it also cook for festivals like Diwali etc.It requires very less ingredients also so easy to do for beginners also without any doubts.Once my friend came to my house then i said have a full pack of Custard Powder but it is expired i don't know what to do after she heard and said to me about this recipe and it is very similar to the cornflour halwa . But it is a different taste gives because of using custard powder kids are also likes a lot so friends try this delicious recipe.

Ingredients

  • Custard Powder - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Milk - 4 cups
  • Ghee - 1 Spoon
  • Kaju - 50 gms

Method

Step 1

Heat ghee in a pan add cashews in it fry for sometime until it turns into golden brown in colour and then remove from the pan keep aside.

Step 2

Now take a milk in bowl add custard powder into it mix well with out any lumps and also add sugar in it stir sometime.

Step 3

The whole mixture shift on to a stove keep it on low flame and keep on stirring.

Step 4

After you observed the whole mixture becomes tight and also stop the bubbles are coming out then switch off the flame.

Step 5

Take a flat bottomed bowl apply ghee on that due to this custard halwa will not stick to the bowl.

Step 6

Finally the whole mixture turn into that greased ghee bowl let it be cool.

Step 7

After it cools down cut into pieces whatever shape you required,garnish with roasted cashews and serve.
