Diwali Special Sweet Shankarpali
Read Sweet Shanakpari in Marathi
For 1 kg
Cooking Time : 1 & 1/2 hour
Ingredients :
- 1/2 kg Maida / All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup ghee
- 1/4 kg powdered sugar
- Cardamom powder
- Salt, to taste
- Oil/Ghee for Frying
- Milk
- Water
- Heat ghee in a pan.
- Take maida in a bowl. Add hot ghee, powdered sugar, salt and cardamom powder. Mix well.
- Add water & milk as required to make a stiff dough.
- Cover it and keep aside for an hour or two.
- Roll it into a chapati and cut into square or diamond shape.
- Heat oil/ghee in a kadai. Fry till golden brown.
- Keep the shankarpaale in an air tight container.
