Sweet Shankarpali

Diwali Special Sweet Shankarpali

Read Sweet Shanakpari in Marathi

For 1 kg

Cooking Time : 1 & 1/2 hour

Ingredients : 
  • 1/2 kg Maida / All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup ghee
  • 1/4 kg powdered sugar
  • Cardamom powder 
  • Salt, to taste
  • Oil/Ghee for Frying
  • Milk
  • Water 
Recipe :
  1. Heat ghee in a pan.
  2. Take maida in a bowl. Add hot ghee, powdered sugar, salt and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  3. Add water & milk as required to make a stiff dough.
  4. Cover it and keep aside for an hour or two.
  5. Roll it into a chapati and cut into square or diamond shape.
  6. Heat oil/ghee in a kadai. Fry till golden brown. 
  7. Keep the shankarpaale in an air tight container.
