Prawn fry is a mouth watering and delicious recipe that you can prepare for both iftar and suhur. It tastes best when served with dal and white rice.
Ingredients
300 gms prawn
1 onion cut into large slices
6 Tbsp oil
12 curry leaves
3 tbsp curd
2 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
salt to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
coriander leaves
Method
- Take the prawns in a bowl, add curd, red chilli powder, salt, black pepper powder and ginger garlic paste and mix well.
- Check for taste and add salt or chilli powder or curd as required.
- Set aside and allow this to marinate for atleast 3 to 4 hours.
- Then heat oil in a pan and add the prawns along with the marinade to it.
- Mix well and cook for a few minutes till the prawns are cooked.
- Switch off the gas.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in another pan and add curry leaves and onions.
- Cook till the onions turn soft.
- Add this to the prawns and mix well.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
