This an ultimate summer Recipe in our house holds..!!
This is done with so many varieties of vegetables and here I have chosen the basic Pachadi Perugu with Tomato..!!
Perugu Pachadi is different from Pachadi Perugu..!! It’s more like we make Pachadi and mix with Perugu and cook it..!!

This is more like a gravy and can be directly mixed with Rice can be taken..!! With Chapati / Roti is again the best way to eat..!!
Preperation :
Ingredients :
- Desi Tomatoes : 6 medium sized
- Green Chillies : 8-10
- Garlic pods : 5
- Curry leaves and Coriander : handful
- Oil : 2 tbsp
- Asafoetida : a pinch
- Turmeric : a pinch
- Split Gram and Urad Dal : 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds and Cumin seeds : 1tbsp
- Sugar : 1 tbsp
- Fried Gram (Pappula Podi Plain) : 2 tbsp
- Curd : half litre
- Salt : As needed.
Procedure:
- Cut the Curd packet and cool it down to room temperature.
- Heat the Kadai and pour Oil, Asafoetida, turmeric, dals, and chopped Green chillies tomatoes, Coriander and Curry leaves..!!
- Add just a pinch of salt now not too much or else the Curd breaks when added sautée all the ingredients..!!
- And Now cool down the mixture and grind with Mortar and Pestle or in mixer grinder..!!
- Finally take the grinder mixture back to kadai on stove..!!
- Heat up a little and add plain Pappula podi (Fried Gram) and add Curd and sugar and the process after would be only 7-8 min…!!
- Mix them well and close with lid..!!
- Finally add salt, mix welland close the lid..!!
- After 10 minutes, this will have the earthy taste of Pappulapodi, tanginess of Tomato Pachadi..!!
- This is the preperation of Pachadi Perugu..!!
