If you are planning for some trips and you are going to stay in hotels, food become the major struggle there. Also for people who are novice and lazy to cooking, we need some ready mix recipes. If we prepare such readymix items at our free time, the job will become more and more easy. In most of the hotels, we have microwave oven. We can prepare our ready to cook items there. Also we could manage a bit with electric cookers.

This rava mix is what I learnt from my neighbour. Her upma tastes awesome. Just to make it quickly, she makes a ready mix recipe often. The reason is that both of us were working at that time. Certainly we were in need of some quick fix recipes. This rava upma mix is one among them. She taught me this. This usually helps at times, when I fall ill. Whenever I fall ill, I need to make something for my kid and husband. Kiddo likes upma and that has become a very easy job for me. The recipe is easy. The taste is awesome. I have used more fine rava to get it cooked quickly. For making it crispy, I have used little more nuts.

Boil 1 cup of water in a microwave safe mug. Add half cup of upma mix and mix well. Microwave it for 1 minute. Mix well again and let it rest for few minutes. Upma will be ready. So quick right ??
