DAILY INSPIRATION

Good Morning, it’s Dr. Rob Kiltz.  How are you doing today?  It’s another awesome and amazing day.  This is a little bit of a morning sharing of thoughts and ideas on how life is just always moving, changing, and shifting. Those of us who have no problems in life are actually not “alive” or living a full life.  A full life is through inspiration. We’re inspired by others who we learn from every day. I’ve Learned from so many in my life.  First my parents, Maria and Ray, my brothers, Raymond and Thomas, and my sister, Maria, and all of my teachers, those other humans in the universe who have shared through words, pictures, movies, stories, and the living of those experiences.

I know for me growing up in Los Angeles – Silver Lake –and hanging out on the streets as a pre-teen and a teen and getting into trouble.  Trouble guided me in some ways in my life. I hung out with (I’ll call them) gang members, and good people who as adolescents weren’t quite sure of their direction.  But we learn from our faults and failures and the inspiration of others.  I realized when the policeman said, “It’s either jail or take care of your mess,” I decided to take care of my mess.

Mrs. Wong in my ceramics class in the 10th or 11th grade at John Marshall High School in Los Angeles inspired me through pottery and clay.  I’m in my pottery Studio right now making pots and throwing on the wheel, making slab pieces. Small pieces and big pieces, medium pieces, and pieces that end up in the bucket or on the floor.  I make lots of mistakes, but I take something and do it and then do it again. The beauty of clay is that it is actually re-useable and moldable and changeable.  I guess it’s kind of the like the human being.  It doesn’t matter where you’ve been.  It is possible to re-grow it, share a new way, and learn it differently.

I’m inspired by others.  That’s really what this is all about: a life of inspiration. Whoever you’re around, begin to learn to love and listen and learn from each and every piece of the road.  If you want to learn to build and do something, get around those successful people who have learned to build and grow something.  You are as capable as any other human being. Your past doesn’t matter or your physical capabilities. Mentally we are all capable.  All of us, in one way or another, are capable of shifting and creating and making change, building on the old and building anew.

I’ve since learned to paint, make jewelry, operate, learn new ideas of health and wellness, but ultimately it comes down to sticking to the loving, living, and learning.

We’re not here to leave a legacy that people can look back at, but to be a good person, and learn and grow in the life you live today. Yes, mistakes, hurt, harm, and regret may come up. But when we can learn not to focus on the regret and negative component of those things and imagine that God the Great Creator actually put you here for all of the lessons you’re learning. The believing is really what makes all of life.  Believe and have faith. That is the most amazing thing that I have learned from growing up as a Catholic/Christian, becoming an atheist, agnostic, Buddhist, spiritualist, Episcopalian and now back to basically a philosophy of Judeo-Christian /Islamic. Really, we’ve learned from the ancients of the Hindis, Sanskrit of the Buddhists of the Lao-Tse and Confucius, and really as a naturalist from the nature of the indigenous people of the world.  We human beings are really here on a journey of learning and loving.

In the breath and smile of life, be still.  And, yes, we fight.  Oh my God do we fight each other.  Do we judge each other?! Enough is enough. Stand still and know that each of us actually is God within each and every one of us. All of us are that.  God.

It is the energy of the universe that created all of us in amazing ways.  Get out a pad and pencil, pen or markers and begin to write the story of the beauty of your life. Begin to paint, do pottery, make jewelry and music. Pick up the guitar, piano, trumpet, oboe, whatever it is, begin to practice your life. Practice Your Life. That’s what this is all about. We are in practice of our lives.  It’s really so, so, amazingly simple and easy.  The universe is creating you for a purpose. The purpose is to get on the journey and trail of life and make some mistakes.  Through mistakes you grow and learn and become the expert.  Believe that you’re the expert already. The trick is to believe and to be patient in the growth, mis-steps, and mis-takes.  Love and learn.  Living today through the broken pieces, broken hearts, the broken this and that is all part of the creative nature of the universe.  YOU are the great creator of everything in your life.  But none of it is actually yours. It all belongs to the universe.  It’s part of the great creative nature of life.

Today, whatever you are working on or whatever you’re around, begin to think of it with the gift of God and the love of life. The gift of God; the love of life. So simple.  The universe grows in simplicity.  We look at it as being so complicated, but it’s really just simple energy in motion, in life.

I’m just sharing some words this day and every day. Sharing my studio, my life studio. Your life studio. We are in a studio of creativity.  This is our life. How beautiful and wonderful this really is.

Thank you, God for this life. Thank you, Great Creator for this life. Thank you, Greatness for everything in our lives. We are blessed, so amazingly blessed.

Be patient in the growth of your life. Imagine that He/She/It knows already what It is doing. Be grateful for that.

Now enjoy this awesome and amazing day. This is Dr. Rob Kiltz. We are learning from each other. Remember that.  God Bless.
