Rais Reports Further Seed Investment

rais - customer insight, CRM and more

As a leading platform for Ecommerce Businesses to harness the power that lies within their customer data we’re delighted to announce that we have received further seed investment into our business recently.

We continue to go from strength to strength since our foundation in January 2015 and are incredibly proud to have received further investment from Sir Peter Thompson. Pledging £150,000 to our growing company in a bid to drive further expansion of our intelligence-driven CRM system, Sir Peter’s investment is a welcome boost, allowing us to expand further.

As the founder of rais, I’m extremely excited to have been given further seed investment by Sir Peter. It demonstrates the faith he has in both our great team and our product and services. Our hard work is really paying off and we’re determined to continue growing the business and helping our clients realise their potential.

Sir Peter Thompson has been a leading figure in the business world for many years and has matched his investment from last year, taking his total to £300,000. An alumnus of the University of Leeds, he is a prolific entrepreneur who was knighted in 1984 for his part in the employee-led privatisation of NFC Plc.

This new injection will take rais’ total investment to above £475,000 including two non-diluted UK Government Innovation grants.

Our platform and analytics service is ideal for SME e-commerce businesses, looking to grow their business from the ground up, by harnessing the power of their data. We provide an intelligent, yet practical solution for busy online retailers. Our platform helps them to convert more customers across a whole range of marketing channels. The investment we have received means that the company will be able to improve the platform to further meet the needs of our clients, and attract new ones that use different ecommerce platforms, such as PrestaShop and Spree.

I feel very privileged to have received such large sums of money from key stakeholders such as Sir Peter and indeed the UK Government. We’re using this investment wisely to give us enough time to succeed as a business. We spend wisely and are focussed on growing the topline without comprising the first-class service we provide our clients. We will continue to develop the platform in an agile way to further evolve our machine-learning analytics Intellectual Property. Clients, who’ve joined us to date and any others who come onboard in 2016 will enjoy all new premium features free-of-charge in return for their continued feedback and referrals.

Thank you
