Seems Data Foundry is now getting ready to make its mark in Texas as it has broken ground on a 325,000 square foot lot for its newest data center in Southeast Austin. It is expected that the data center would worth $200 million and allow the company to expand its operations and construct its own built-to-suit data centers for their clientele. The growth of Data Foundry is quite interesting as Austin is not known for being a major data center hub, but the company is optimistic that the market for this industry would be large once it is tapped by companies.
