If you have been served with a Garnishment and writ, and you decide to object it must be based on any one of the following
- Funds or Property are Exempt
- Bankruptcy is Pending
- Barred by an Installment Payment Order
- There is a Higher Priority Garnishment that is Taking the Maximum Amount
- The Judgement has been paid
- The Garnishment Was Not Properly Issued or Otherwise Invalid
You use Court Form MC 49, Objections to Garnishment and Notice of Hearing.
