Your Next Market Research Job May Not Mention “Research”

This trend started a few years ago, and it continues. A sampling of recent Job Posts for which many market researchers would be qualified illustrates this (job posts are from the job site Indeed). Relevant job titles may refer to “Customer” or “Consumer”. Some may refer to “Market Research” or “Insights”—or both! And of course, many “This includes all interactions, emotions, and perceptions a customer encounters throughout their experience.">Customer Experience” job postings, when you look at the qualifications, are really market research jobs.

So, if you are seeking your next career move, be cautious about skipping over openings with job titles that feel  “different”. Your next great opportunity may bring you a new and unexpected job title.
