Position: Breakfast Chef
Reports to: Head Chef
Location: Knutsford

Key Responsibilities 

• Prepare and cook a wide range of breakfast dishes to the highest standards, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation exceed guest expectations
• Develop and maintain an innovative breakfast menu, incorporating local and seasonal ingredients to create a memorable dining experience
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and other team members to ensure menu consistency and smooth operation of the breakfast service
• Oversee the cleanliness and organisation of the breakfast kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
• Manage inventory, control costs, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimise waste and maintain adequate supplies
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to maintain a high level of performance and professionalism
• Contribute to menu development for special events, promotions, and group bookings

Prerequisites 

• Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role, preferably within a hotel or high-end dining establishment
• Solid knowledge of breakfast cuisine, food preparation techniques, and cooking methods
• Ability to create visually appealing and delicious breakfast dishes with an emphasis on quality and presentation
• Strong organisational and time management skills to efficiently handle a fast-paced breakfast service
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with the culinary team and other departments
• High standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Food Safety Level 2 certification is preferred
