About the Company

The Bronx Martial Arts Academy is well-known for providing the best teaching in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Karate, and Muay Thai. The Bronx Martial Arts Academy maintains high standards and fosters an environment of mutual challenge in order to achieve the highest levels of success. A family-friendly atmosphere prevails, supported by a dedicated team that painstakingly guides students through their martial arts adventure, allowing them to achieve varied goals such as weight loss, self-defense, confidence development, and mental fortitude.

The focus of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is on learning the art of controlling a resisting opponent and convincing them to surrender. Muay Thai, which originated in Thailand, is a fighting sport that includes stand-up hitting techniques and clinching moves.

Through martial arts instruction, the academy teaches children fundamental life values that extend beyond the dojo and impact their behavior in school, at home, and beyond. The academy takes its mission to nurture the next generation seriously, and it works hard to foster an atmosphere of respect and friendship.

Shotokan Karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) are part of the Juniors program. The ‘Tiny Tigers’ karate initiative introduces young children to martial arts at ages 4 to 5. The possibility to engage in both BJJ and karate is offered to youngsters aged 6 and up.

The academy believes that participation in martial arts leads to personal improvement. Diligent practice and unshakable dedication not only enrich practitioners’ lives but also have a good impact on others.
