UC Program Allows Inmates To Get A Degree And Have A Chance At Life

The Restorative Justice Program in California has allowed 24 inmates at the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility to receive associate degrees in sociology and liberal arts. The program, which enables incarcerated individuals to engage in face-to-face learning with teachers from Southwestern College, has empowered over 1,500 inmates to reintegrate into society successfully.
