Cricketer KL Rahul has shared an adorable birthday wish for his girlfriend, actress Athiya Shetty.

Taking to his social media accounts, Rahul shared a couple of mushy pictures with Athiya and wrote, "Happy birthday to my you make everything better."

In one of the pictures, Rahul can be seen lovingly looking at the actress. In another photo, they can be seen wearing quirky sunglasses.

Moments after he shared the post, Athiya re-shared it on her Instagram story and called Rahul the 'best boy'.

According to several media reports, Rahul and Athiya are all set to tie the knot in January next year and the wedding will take place in Maharashtra.

"KL informed me a few days back that he will marry Athiya next year. After that, a close family member from the girl's side also told me the same. After the T20 World Cup, the team will go for New Zealand tour and after this, the wedding will take place in Maharashtra," a BCCI source had informed ANI.

KL Rahul and Athiya have been dating since a long while and the actress was also seen with KL on a few tours of India. Athiya is the daughter of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, who has also confirmed their relationship many times.

Athiya made her acting debut in the 2015 romantic action film ‘Hero’ alongside Sooraj Pancholi, directed by Nikhil Advani and based on co-producer Subhash Ghai's 1983 blockbuster of the same name. She was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

After a two-year break, she starred alongside Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Ileana D'Cruz in Anees Bazmee's romantic comedy ‘Mubarakan’.

Athiya was last seen in the film ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui. According to reports, she is all set to play the lead role in ‘Hope Solo’, footballer Afshan Ashiq's biopic.
