First hotel outside China by Shun Tak’s Artyzen Hospitality in Singapore

With the opening of its flagship Hotel in Southeast Asia, Artyzen Singapore, Florence Residences Site Plan, Artyzen Hospitality Group has expanded its hotel portfolio beyond Greater China. On November 24th, the doors to the 142-room, five-star hotel at 9 Cuscaden Road will open.

The hotel chain is 100% owned by Shun Tak Holdings, a Hong Kong-based conglomerate with interests in real estate, transportation, the hospitality industry, and investments. Artyzen Hospitality is celebrating a decade in business by opening its first hotel outside of China.

The opening of these two flagship hotels comes at a historic time for the hospitality company. The Artyzen New Bund 31 Shanghai, the group’s flagship property, opened its doors to guests last month.

“The two flagship openings are significant additions to our premium collection of home-grown luxury boutique hotels, Artyzen Hotels & Resorts,” says Peter Wynne, senior vice president, of Artyzen Hospitality Group.

Artyzen Hospitality now has 13 hotels after recent launches. It has two flagship hotel brands: Artyzen Hotels & Resorts, for luxury hospitality, and Artyzen Habitat, for residential hospitality. The group operates The Shàng by Artyzen, YaTi by Artyzen, and Grand Coloane Resort lifestyle hotels.

The living and dining area of the penthouse is enormous and takes up the entirety of the floor plan. One of the best views of Tanglin and the lush vegetation that characterizes the Good Class Bungalow neighborhoods of Chatsworth Park, The Florence Residences, Ridley Park, and Ridout Park can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own private balcony at awesome prices.

The penthouse apartment features a separate sitting area, private office, fitness center, and walk-through closet. The en suite bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and his-and-her wash basins.

All of the rooms and suites at Artyzen Singapore have 4.1-meter ceilings and are equipped with ceiling fans. With only 12 rooms and suites per floor (excluding the penthouse), guests will feel as though they are staying in their very own bungalow.

We’re psyched to take on the competition in Singapore’s upper-middle-class luxury lifestyle segment. He says, “I think we are well-positioned to capture the imagination of a new generation of millennial travelers who seek a hospitality experience grounded in self-expression.

He also thinks the hotel chain should look into opening an Artyzen Habitat hotel in Singapore and other major Southeast Asian cities like Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Jakarta.

Prior to acquiring Covid, the hotel chain was exploring entry opportunities in other major cities in Asia and the Pacific. These included Tokyo and Osaka in Japan, as well as Sydney and Melbourne in Australia.
