The last night on our trip we went back to Bergen, because it is a handy place for us to stay. And I always enjoy visiting the town where I spent so long studying.

The Hotel we were supposed to stay at was being used for a quarantine hotel, so we got moved to another hotel. And when we came our room was not ready so we had to wait a while in the Sunshine. The staff kindly upgraded our room due to the wait and we were put in a suite. The staff were so kind and really did their best and we ended up really happy.

After that I was starving, so we went to a Lovely fish restaurant by the sea. I had some really nice sushi and local beer in the sunshine. We then walked by the harbor to the other side to have a beer and enjoy the sunshine and a nice view.

After that we just went back to our lovely room and spent the evening in there, enjoying the wonderful view from there and just chilling back.

The next morning we had a lovely breakfast and then I went for a wonderful walk in the sunshine through some of Bergen’s charming streets. Then I went to a bakery to get us some food and coffee for the last of the journey. Then we got back in to the car to drive the last five hours of our vacation.

This weekend I have the house to myself and I am really enjoying it. What are you getting up to?
