Distinguished personalities including the management of Board of Internal Revenue, Chairman Muslim Pilgrims Board Alhaji Umar Bappari Kem, family and friends, led by the state chairman Muslim Council, Alhaji Cambo Jika Saturday, accompanied the National President, Aliyu Mustapha Old Students' Association, AMOSA, Alhaji Abubakar Bobboi and Alhaji Muhammad Bamanga Jabari, to the Palace of the District Head (Ardo) Mayo-Belwa, Alhaji Muhammad Bamanga Dalil, on a thank you visit over their appointment as Sarki Hurumi and Sarki Gabas Mayo-Belwa.

Jika, the leader of the delegation, expressed gratitude to Allah SWT for making it possible and to Ardo Mayo-Belwa for the well deserved appointments of credible personalities as Sarki Hurumi and Sarki Gabas Mayo-Belwa, assuring that the duo would join in strengthening the district, the state and beyond.

In his remarks, Ardo Dalil the District Head of Mayo-Belwa described Alhaji Bobboi and Alhaji Jabari as worthy sons of Mayo-Belwa who undoubtedly merited the traditional title of Sarki Hurumi and Sarki Gabas. He expressed hopes that the duo would do their utmost to promote peaceful coexistence, progress and development in Mayo-Belwa, to the state and the country as a whole.  

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the visit, Bobboi the newly appointed Sarki Hurumi Mayo-Belwa, who is also Director Tax Payee with the Board of Internal Revenue, having thanked Allah SWT for the journey mercy, commended the district head for the appointments, where he promised to justify the confidence reposed in them by deploying their wealth of experiences to bear in the progress and development of Mayo-Belwa and the state. He pledged to remain loyal to the District Head and Adamawa Emirate Council.

Bobboi thanked the distinguished personalities, families and friends that accompanied them to Mayo-Belwa for a thank you visit.
