BREAKING: Ohinoyi of Ebira land, Ado Ibrahim dies at 95

The Ohinoyi of Ebira land, Ado Ibrahim, a paramount ruler in Kogi State, has passed away. He died on Sunday morning after a short illness at the age of 95.

The late monarch will be laid to rest in accordance with Islamic customs.

Ado Ibrahim was made the Ohinoyi of Ebira land in 1997 by the former Governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu.

He succeeded Alhaji Sanni Omolorim, who reigned from 1957 to 1997.

Born on February 7, 1929, Ado Ibrahim attended both western and Quranic schools before completing his primary education in 1940 at the Native Authority primary School in Okene.

He then attended Ondo Boys High School and Oduduwa College, graduating in 1949.

In 1954, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and a master’s degree from Harvard Business School in 1959.
