During a practice, two Malaysian Navy helicopters collided in midair, killing ten people

The Malaysian Navy’s two helicopters crashed in midair amid a hone session for a celebration occasion honouring the Regal Malaysian Navy. According to Malaysian news organizations, there were at least ten individuals on board the two helicopters. The collision happened near the maritime establishment in the Malaysian town of Lumut.

The Regal Malaysian Naval Force also discharged an articulation where they said that two helicopters, recognized as models HOM (M503-3) and Fennec (M502-6), had collided and slammed at 9:32 a.m. (nearby time). They said that the choppers were practising for the Navy’s 90th commemoration occasion, planned to take place from May 3–5. They encouraged that the HOM (M503-3) helicopter was carrying seven individuals, and the remaining three were on board the Fennec (M502-6). “All the casualties were affirmed dead at the scene and were hence transported to the Lumut Illustrious Malaysian Naval Force Base military clinic for recognizable proof purposes,” the press release said. The nation’s naval force said that a test board is being set up to explore the incident.
