He expressed frustration with the BBC's stance and questioned what more evidence they needed to recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization. 

Herzog mentioned that he had seen a booklet outlining instructions for Hamas members to carry out immediate torture in abductions, emphasizing the group's actions. 

The BBC, under its Editorial Guidelines, clarified that it does not use the term "terrorist" but acknowledges that Hamas is designated as a terrorist organization by the UK Government. 

The BBC board issued a statement acknowledging the gravity of the situation in the Israel-Gaza conflict and pledged to review its editorial guidelines in the spring. 

The BBC also mentioned that it has received complaints about its coverage and faced accusations of bias from both sides.
