Over 2,300 Pilgrims have left the base camp in Jammu to embark on the annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave shrine in the Kashmir Valley. So far, over 3.35 lakh pilgrims have visited the shrine since the yatra began on July 1. The convoy of pilgrims, including men, women, seers, and children, left in 103 vehicles under heavy security provided by the Central Reserve Police Force. This year, over 1.30 lakh pilgrims have already left for the valley from the Bhagwati Nagar camp since June 29.
