SBI CFO Charanjit Surinder Singh Attra Resigns; New Directors Appointed to Central Board

State Bank of India (SBI) has announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Charanjit Surinder Singh Attra, has resigned. The bank accepted Attra's resignation, which will be effective from the end of business hours on June 30, 2023. Additionally, SBI has appointed four directors to its central board for a three-year term. Two directors, Ketan Shivji Vikamsey and Mrugank Madhukar Paranjape, have been re-elected, while Rajesh Kumar Dubey and Dharmendra Singh Shekhawat are the newly appointed directors. SBI's shares rose 5% to close at Rs 572.80 per share on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
