Rally at University of Michigan calling for ‘Intifada’, demise of Israel stuns internet: ‘Call to murder Jews’

Social media users were shocked and outraged by a recent anti-israeli Rally held by pro-Palestinian protesters at the University of Michigan this week.

Clips from the protest showed marchers chanting “Intifada, Intifada! Long live the Intifada,” a call for the violent overthrow of the Jewish state inspired by Palestinian riots and rebellions against Israel in the late 1980s, early 1980s. 90s and early 2000s.

“There is only one solution!” a female marcher was seen chanting, as the crowd behind her replied, “Intifada! Revolution !

Walkers, seen strolling the Ann Arbor campus shouting into megaphones and waving Palestinian flags, were also heard chanting the infamous anti-Israeli call to arms: “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!”

Media reported that the anti-Semitic rally was held in protest Vice President Kamala HarrisOn Thursday, a campus tour, where she gave a speech on climate policy and student activism. The protesters appeared to oppose the US government’s support for the State of Israel.

Another video showed marchers outside the campus building in which Harris was giving his speech, saying, “Not another penny, not another penny, no more money for Israel’s crimes.”

The blatant call for the overthrow of Israel disturbed prominent Twitter users, who were stunned that such a feeling spoke so freely on a large American college campus.

Jewish Journal columnist Blake Flayton tweeted: “At the University of Michigan, a call to murder Jews.

Rep. Jared Moskovitz, R-Fla., spoke about the shocking nature of the rally, tweeting, “Using Hitler’s word ‘solution’ is intentional here. Israel has a right to exist. We will never compromise on that. The Jewish people have a right to exist.

Free Beacon reporter Joe Gabriel Simonson mocked the protesters, tweeting, “Losers think this is an Intifada.”

The Manhattan Institute Ilya Shapiro posted a sarcastic comment on the protest, stating, “That’s because @UMich only spends $18m a year on DEI.”

Former Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas National Security Adviser Boris Ryvkin condemned the rally, writing, “Terrifying. Echoes of what happened in Charlottesville, except violent anti-Semites are cut off from a other fabric. I expect the mainstream media to give that is the saturated, wall-to-wall coverage he gave to this event with the WH, Democratic leaders and squad members condemning him.”

Mediaite reporter Isaac Schorr remarked, “Not best defending your ability to manage your own state, kids.”

The popular conservative AG account tweeted: “I don’t think most people really understand the level of hatred and hostility towards Jewish students at many of the top liberal universities because school administrations tend to support/allow this. kind of stuff.”

Hollywood producer and The Spectator columnist Daniella Greenbaum Davis has sympathized with Jewish students at the University of Michigan. She tweeted, “Intifadas 1 and 2 saw terrorists brutally murder innocent civilians. I can’t even imagine being a Jew on campus in Michigan right now.”

Author Samuel Rosenfeld tweeted, “Sickening… @UMich.”
