PM Netanyahu Promises to Annihilate Hamas in Imminent Invasion, Describes Them as ‘Bloodthirsty Monsters’; Emergency Israeli Cabinet Convenes as Troops Assemble at the Border and Large-Scale Exodus Sweeps Northern Gaza

Benjamin Netanyahu has made a strong declaration to “demolish” Hamas, as Israeli troops near the Gaza border prepare for an attack. The Israeli Prime Minister stated that the armed forces are ready to defeat these “bloodthirsty monsters” with a comprehensive offensive by land, sea, and air. With Israeli tanks and troops already stationed at the border, simulations are being conducted in preparation for an invasion of Gaza following a surprise attack by Hamas terrorists, resulting in the death of 1,300 Israelis. Palestinians are fleeing northern Gaza after Israel dropped flyers urging immediate evacuation. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) pointed out that Hamas is preventing civilians from leaving, releasing an aerial photo showing vehicles blocking the road while desperate Palestinians scramble to escape.

This marked the first meeting of Israel’s expanded emergency cabinet, held at the military headquarters in Tel Aviv, where ministers paid their respects in a minute of silence for the deceased. Prime Minister Netanyahu, welcoming former opposition lawmaker Benny Gantz, emphasized the united front and the continuous efforts of all ministers. Netanyahu conveyed confidence in their ability to demolish Hamas, stating that the unity message is essential for the nation, the enemy, and the world.

Netanyahu expressed admiration for the soldiers on the front line and assured them of the nation’s support. He emphasized their readiness to take action at any time to defeat the bloodthirsty monsters who seek to destroy Israel. As Israeli forces continue to encircle the Gaza Strip, readying for a land, sea, and air assault on Hamas, the United States has sent a second aircraft carrier to the eastern Mediterranean to deter any further escalation of the conflict. The IDF, in preparation to expand the offensive, has formulated various operational plans, including a coordinated attack involving air, sea, and land forces. The presence of Israeli soldiers, tanks, and armored vehicles near the Gaza border is evident.

Amidst the tension, Netanyahu urged people to remember that Hamas is responsible for the current situation and the displacement of around 400,000 civilians. However, concerns have been raised about the impact of the evacuation on more than 2,000 patients in Gaza’s northern hospitals, including newborns and those in intensive care. The UN warns that the hospitals could run out of fuel for their emergency generators within two days, putting thousands of lives at risk. Tel Aviv has been experiencing continuous sirens warning of potential rocket strikes, and civilians have been advised to stay two miles away from the Lebanese border due to a deadly missile attack by Hezbollah fighters. Furthermore, the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, recently visited the aftermath of the Be’eri kibbutz massacre, expressing determination to overcome and rebuild despite the brutal and vile acts of the terrorists.
