  • In a five-hour-long questioning on Monday, questions were raised about the counseling session of Sushant from Dariach, the problems involved and the dosage of drugs.
  • Sushant’s two other psychiatrists and a psychotherapist have been questioned by the police, one of whom mentioned Sushant’s mental illness.

In the Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide Case, Mumbai Police on Monday recorded the statement of their psychiatrist Dr. Parveen Daraich. In the interrogation that took place at Bandra Police Station for about five hours, Daraich said that Sushant first came to him in 2018. When they were not satisfied with the counseling, they started arguing with them and they left the treatment in the middle. The police had questioned Darrach regarding Sushant’s counseling session, the troubles and drug dosages.

Sushant was struggling with a bipolar disorder

In the past, the police also talked to two other psychiatrists and a psychotherapist besides Dr. Parveen Daraich. According to police sources, Sushant was undergoing treatment with him since November 2019. During interrogation, a psychiatrist said that Sushant was suffering from a disease called bipolar disorder. At the same time, according to the rest of the doctors, his life was very tense. However, why did Sushant have this tension? No doctor could answer this.

Mental illness is bipolar disorder

Bipolar disorder is a mental illness in which the behavior of a human being changes rapidly. It is also called manic depression. A person suffering from this sometimes stops trusting the people around him. According to doctors, the same was the case with Sushant. He told the police that Sushant would meet any doctor two or three times and then replace him. Perhaps the reason for this was that they did not trust their doctors.

Used to consult on the phone after April

During interrogation, almost every doctor admitted that Sushant did not take medicines on time. And even if taken, for a very short time. At the same time, due to the lockdown after April, he used to talk to doctors only on the phone and get advice. The doctors also expressed apprehension that Sushant was neither taking medicines nor following his advice for two-three months.

About 40 people have been questioned so far

  • 34-year-old Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his home in Mumbai on 14 June. The postmortem and viscera report has proved this to be a case of suicide. However, the reason is still unclear why the actor took such a big step.
  • The Mumbai Police has so far questioned about 40 people to find out the reason. Apart from these four doctors, the film critique Rajiv Masand, Yash Raj Films owner Aditya Chopra, some former production house executives, casting director Shanu Sharma, Sushant’s domestic staff, manager, PR team, X manager, friend, girlfriend, co-star and Family members are included.
  • Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been questioned. At the same time, Shekhar Kapur has mailed his statement. However, he can be called to the police station. Kangana Ranot may also be questioned in the case. Shekhar and Kangana in their statements have blamed the nepotism spread in Bollywood for Sushant’s death. Kangana said in an interview recently that she has received summons. But they are currently in their hometown Manali. Therefore cannot go to record the statement.
  • Here, many people including BJP MP Roopa Ganguly, Rajya Sabha MP and former Cabinet Minister Subramanian Swamy, actor Shekhar Suman, TV actor Tarun Khanna are demanding a CBI probe in the case. Advocate Ishkaran Singh Bhandari is looking into the scope of CBI investigation in the case by investigating the facts.
