N-power Knowledge
The N-Power Knowledge Program is the Federal Government’s first step towards diversifying to a knowledge economy.
This program will work alongside the planned eight innovation hubs across the country to provide incubation and acceleration of the technology and creative industries.
The program is training to jobs initiative, essentially ensuring that participants can get engaged in the marketplace in an outsourcing capacity, as freelancers, as employees and entrepreneurs.
The knowledge program is segmented into three sub programs:

- N-Power Tech (Software)
- N-Power Tech (Hardware)
This will be a hands-on training program where students will learn with the same tools, components and systems that they will encounter after the program. N-Power Build is an accelerated training and certification (Skills to Job/Enterprise) program that will engage and train 75,000 young unemployed Nigerians citizens in order to build a new crop of skilled and highly competent workforce of technicians, artisans and service professionals as well too.
N-power Teacher Corps
According to the federal government of Nigeria, 500,000 unemployed graduates will be recruited. Following this, N-power teacher corps, is a paid programme for the duration of two years. The young unemployed Nigerian graduate trainees will be paid monthly for this period.
N-Power Teacher Corps program is an invaluable opportunity for young Nigerian citizens to make immense economic and social contributions to the nation while developing their skills.
Requirements for Npower Nigeria Recruitment 2016 portal.npower.gov.ng
Below are the requirements for www.npower.gov.ng - Npower Nigeria Recruitment 2016;
- HND certificate
- First school leaving certificate
- OND certificate
- Senior secondary school certificate (Waec, Neco, GCE and Nabteb)
- Degree
Note, in some categories, you will be required to provide your NYSC certificate number.
Procedures to Apply for Npower Recruitment 2016 Using portal.npower.gov.ng
So many people have been complaining of finding it difficult to register and apply for npower recruitment 2016. Follow the steps I will be giving below for effective registration and application.
- Visit the official application portal of Npwer by visiting portal.npower.gov.ng or www.npower.gov.ng. It should be noted that visiting any of the to portals above, will definitely land you on nportal registration homepage.
- When the page loads, select the programme you want to apply for and click the "apply" button.
- Click the registration button, Register with your preferred username and password
- From the drop down list of programme, select one and click the apply button.
- Fikl the application form by providing all the necessary information required correctly, in the spaces provided.
- Upload all necessary documents.

Yow will receive the following on successful application
►You will receive an acknowledgement email letter confirming the receipt of the application, after submission.
►You will be notified by email and the registration portal, within 48 hours whether you are eligible for the N-Power program, if you are unsuccessful you may apply again in subsequent programs.
►after which you can proceed to the test page at the MY N-POWER
PORTAL, you will be required to write two tests; a general skills test and program specific test.
►Depending on your program there may be a final interview before acceptance into the N-Power program; otherwise you will receive an email confirming your provisional acceptance into the N-Power
program.
►You will have to confirm your acceptance to secure your place.
►Specific information and program details will now be sent to your
email.
►You will be notified by email and the registration portal, within 48 hours whether you are eligible for the N-Power program, if you are unsuccessful you may apply again in subsequent programs.
