Kumkum Bhagya is one of the most loved TV shows on Indian television. It features the story of Abhi and Pragya and the two have a huge fanbase in and outside India. Currently, the show is in the next-gen time with Abhi and Pragya dealing with the problems of their grownup kids. However, that doesn't mean that Abhi and Pragya are sidelined. The two are very much the central characters and the show revolves around the situations surrounding them and their children.

After lockdown, a lot of changes have been made as far as shooting has been concerned. Recently, Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia shot for the promo with Kundali Bhagya's Shraddha Arya and Dheeraj Dhoopar. A couple of weeks ago, reports of Naina Singh who plays Rhea had quit the show. And now we have heard that another actress has been replaced. If you haven't guessed it yet, we are talking about Shikha Singh who played Aliya Mehra, Abhi's sister in the show.

Well, Shikha recently gave birth to a baby girl and is currently on a maternity break. Now, as per a report in IWMbuzz.com, Shikha will be replaced by none other than Reyhna Malhotra of Ishqbaaaz fame. Reyhnaa played Svetlana in the show, a vamp and was showered with love for her portrayal of the same.

Hitherto, Reyhna was last seen in Manmohini. As per the report in IWMbuzz.com, if the deal finalised, Reyhna could step into the shoes of Shikha Singh as Aliya. "Reyhna will be mostly locked for the role of Aaliya and she would soon begin to shoot for the show," a source close to the development of the show told IWMbuzz.com.

Recently, Sriti opened up on what's brewing in the show. "The story of Prachi and Ranbir will have a major turning point. Their silence could spell separation for the duo while their confession of love for each other could be the beginning of another true romance that viewers have been waiting to watch," she told IANS.
