Veteran actor Anupam Kher has won our hearts with his memorable performances in films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Saransh, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, Ram Lakhan, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and many more. Among these films, his portrayal in Hum Aapke Hain Koun is one of our favourites. But did you know, the talented actor suffered facial paralysis while doing this film? In a conversation with Zoom Digital, the actor said, "When I was doing Hum Aapke Hain Koun I got facial paralysis. I went to Sooraj Barjatya and told him my face is twisted but I am ready to shoot. When you confront situations it makes you believe in yourself more."

When he was asked how difficult it is for a celebrity to be locked in a room and whether it affects his creativity. The Prem Ratan Dhan Payo actor replied, "Artist toh act karte hote hai. Bechare sadak mei joh gareeb log hote, hai unka sochna chahiye. Artists also have this false illusion of let us create hum badei upset ho rahe hai. This is nonsense. I think people who are less fortunate than us, when you think about them, then you realise your life is easier. I feel that when any kind of a catastrophe I confront, it should give me courage to deal with it strongly. I do not let my mental state get affected."

On asking, what he will do first thing after lockdown, he answered, "I will stick around in my house and not go out unnecessarily. I will go and meet my mother as I have not met her." Anupam Kher will be next seen in Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi, which is directed by Rohit Shetty.
