The TV industry is obsessed with trends. And after the trend of supernatural shows and spin-offs, the latest one to hit the telly town is reboots. After the successful reboot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, TV networks are cashing in on the same idea. And the next show to get a reboot or a new edition is Jamai Raja. It is happening! Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma-starrer daily soap Jamai Raja is all set to return.

BollywoodLife has got the exclusive piece of information that the makers will be bringing back the next edition of Jamai Raja. However, there would a lot of changes in the new version. A reliable source reveals to us that Jamai Raja would return however, it won't be a daily soap, instead, it will be a digital series. The series will stream on Zee TV's (the network that aired Jamai Raja) digital arm, Zee 5.

Of late, Zee 5 has been airing most of its popular shows that aired on the Zee network. After commissioning spin-offs for its ongoing shows like Guddan...Tumse Na Hopaayega (the spin-off is titled Bittan) and Ishq Subhan Allah (called Ishq Aaj Kal), the network will bring back Jamai Raja as well. However, if you are wondering if the original cast including the lead actors would return with the new series, then you are sadly mistaken. Our sources reveal that the "cast won't be the same and the makers are currently on a hunt to find new faces."

Jamai Raja was produced under producer Ashvini Yardi and Akshay Kumar's banner Grazing Goat and co-produced by Meenakshi Sagar. However, the digital series is helmed solely by Yardi under her new production Vini Yard Films. Despite repeated attempts, Yardi didn't respond to our calls and messages. Meanwhile, Meenakshi Sagar, said, "I have no clue about it."
