Everyone was charmed by the innocent, sweet yet intense love story of Manav (Sushant Singh Rajput) and Archana (Ankita Lokhande) when Pavitra Rishta began airing on ZEE TV. The show was inspired by a South Indian show and was a huge craze with viewers. Manav, played by Sushant was a mechanic qualified only till the eighth standard. On the other hand, Archana too could not complete her education but her parents hoped to find a good match for her. They fall in love and get married but things go topsy-turvy after the truth comes out. The show will have a repeat telecast from September 3 on ZEE TV from 4pm to 5pm. It is the not the only show that will have a repeat telecast even Jodha Akbar will be shown again for fans.

Sushant and Ankita continued their relationship even after the show wrapped up. They were supposed to be married in six months in 2016 but broke up much to the shock of fans. Sushant said they had drifted apart as people in the past year while she kept mum. Recently, she told DNA, “It affects you a lot. You don’t know what’s happening with you but it’s all there in the papers. However, I actually feel it makes you stronger. Today, I don’t feel anything. That’s it. Whatever the things were, my family and friends were with me.” Ankita will be seen as Jhalkaribai in Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi.

While Pavitra Rishta was a huge hit in India, Jodha Akbar won over the global audience. People love it in countries like Russia, Germany and Turkey.
