Shakti begins with Harman (Vivian Dsena) holding Soumya’s (Rubina Dilaik) hand after she agrees to dance with him. Surbhi is all smiles. Preeto (Kamya Punjabi) taunts her that she was pretending to be hurt. She says I replied to someone’s acting with a little of my own. Soumya tells him that she did not know how to dance, he says even he did not know how to love before. They two dance and share some romantic moments. Preeto gets upset seeing this. Harman thanks Soumya for the dance and she says he is her biggest support so far. Surbhi (Roshni Sahota) and Nani observe them. The police team comes there.

Viren informs Harak Singh (Sudesh Berry) that Raavi’s sasur has come with the cops. The police says they need to search the house for the boy. Harak Singh says how dare you and threatens to call the top brass. Raavi’s father-in-law says Harman has kidnapped his nephew. Raavi is shocked. Harak says you could not look after him. The police says they got info that he is at home.

Varun looks on slyly. The police searches the house. Harman is tensed. Soumya looks on tensed. The police wants to check the cupboard in Harman’s room. He says it has nothing. Varun tells him to give the keys. Surbhi gives them the keys and they open it. The boy is not there. Harman looks on.

Harak Singh yells at the cops and says Kishan Lal, I will blacken your face. The neighbours support Harak bringing black ink. They paint his face black. Harman tells him not to go home like this on Lohri night and gets a black scarf to cover his face. Kishan Lal gets instructions from Harman to leave the place. While he recollects Harman kidnapping him, he is scared by him. The neighbours tell Harak Singh that they support him. The police apologises. Preeto asks who called them here? He says they got a call. Harak tells him to call back on the number. He does and Surbhi’s phone rings.

Inspector asks who is she? Varun says she is Harman’s saali. The cops get annoyed thinking that she was playing a prank. Preeto asks Surbhi if she called police and whether it was done to insult them or Raavi. Surbhi says she did not call. Harak says she has ruined their respect. Surbhi defends herself. Preeto taunts her as a life. Soumya says Surbhi can’t do this. Maninder says Soumya must have done this to get Surbhi insulted out of spite.
