Currently experimenting with a practice he calls "Sledgehammer Painting" (Slam Painting). He threw away his delicate horsetail brush, "cut the shit" so to speak... join him on his journey.
Working with the Sledgehammer is a large and clumsy brush; opposite of the approach he studied as a child; spending hours learning the gentle stroke a horsetail brush delivers on rice paper.
