Tovino Thomas hinted Ranveer Singh to be starred in Shaktimaan film?

A year ago, legendary actor Mukesh Khanna revealed details regarding the forthcoming movie based on his Shaktimaan persona. Last year, Sony Pictures unveiled the project. Several rumours circulated that actor Ranveer Singh had been cast in the legendary role, which was to be directed by Basil Joseph. Tovino Thomas, the actor from Minnal Murali, appears to have verified the same on his Instagram Live.

Tovino Thomas went live on Instagram just a couple days ago to rejoice in the news that his film ‘2018’ had been chosen as India’s official submission for the Oscars. In no time, Ranveer Singh interrupted the Live by commenting, “Love from Mumbai.” Tovino noticed his remark and responded with compliments. Tovino began expressing that he was just chatting to director Basil Joseph about how Ranveer will like working with him at this point.

The OG Superhero character

However the actor did not share the title of the project, he did imply that Ranveer and Basil are working on a project that would begin filming shortly. Ranveer added some remarks as well. “Who here wants Tovino x Ranveer?” he mentioned during the live. “Wish I can perform alongside you someday. Would be amazing!” he later added.

Furthermore, Tovino is rejoicing at being chosen of 2018 for the Academy Awards. Set against the background of Kerala’s terrible floods in 2018, the film, directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, stars Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali, and Lal.

Ranveer Singh, on the other hand, was most recently seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani. The picture was a critical and economic triumph. Ranveer just confirmed that he will star in Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar.
