Anita, better known as Nina de Elite, recently apologized in public to Chioma, the wife of Nigerian music sensation Davido.
This apology came after Anita insulted and poked Chioma, even accusing her of being a “pity wife.” Anita, on the other hand, now says that her acts were motivated by hurt and frustration.
The feud had been between her and Davido, so netizens were taken aback when she dragged Chioma into it. She implied that Chioma and Davido’s relationship was one-sided and based on sympathy.
Anita’s contentious behavior did not end with her accusations against Chioma. Anita found herself caught in a scandal of her own making just weeks before her public apologies.
She claimed to be pregnant with Davido’s child and even shared an ultrasound scan photo on her Instagram page. However, eagle-eyed Nigerians quickly discovered that she had lifted the ultrasound image from Google, exposing her fabrication.
To add to the drama, Anita made headlines in August when she uploaded an image on Instagram of herself dressed in an orange jumpsuit that resembled jail garb. The image was captioned “Free Chef Chi,” a direct reference to Chioma. This post drew a lot of attention and heated things up even more, eliciting replies from both Anita’s followers and Davido fans.
Despite her previous clashes and dubious acts, Anita has finally reached out to Chioma with a heartfelt apology. She admits in her apology that her past statements and actions were motivated by her own hurt and frustration.

“lam going through a tr matic & tragic time in my life. I honestly don’t want to speak on it & don’t need to, or have to speak on it. It’s too much to bear right now. Im disquieted by all of the events that have taken place. The only thing iwill say is i regret that I let my pain and feelings of betrOyal allow me to turn me against another woman. So, i apologize to Chioma. I never intended to speak on you or your child. Losing is never a good feeling, being he rt by someone you love and care about is not a good feeling.
Moving forward i would prefer to be known for the light i bring into the world.”
