Very last posts, I walked us through a bunch of skin care goodies of IOPE Cosmetics, they belongs to the Premium Summer Gift Set I bought nearly 6 months ago. There are variety of moisturizing creams, I’m on the way to almost finish them up. This time, let’s dive in my candid review of IOPE Bio Hydro Cream.

I were told to use the product along with the Hyaluronic Serum in order to lock skin in moisture. Well, it’s really work. This is gonna be worth your time to try, don’t you think?

1. About the Product

The moisturizer is infused with glycerin, which aims to sufficiently quench skin’s thirst, boost its hydration in order to stimulate skin’s self recoverability. 2. My Thoughts

After going through most of the product description, I’d say the IOPE Bio Hydro Cream is bound to serve dry, flaky struggling skin. It’s really an ideal choice in arid climates. I’ve been using the cream since the winter arrived. To begin with, the product has very pale, gel consistency that reminds me a lot about Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream. Anyway, both IOPE and Laneige are reputable cosmetic brands of Amore Pacific. So, it’s inevitable to see some similarities between the skincare products of these two. Back to the main point, however, the Bio Hydro Cream is more likely to have higher thickening and lubricating effects with denser texture.

It’s literally easy to blend out, like gliding effortlessly onto bare skin with noticeably slippery feeling. The product’s moisturizing content is genuinely rich and concentrated, you can apply evenly all over your face with a small amount. I can find sufficiently lightweight, not stubborn heaviness lingering to the surface. The cream doesn’t quickly dry down so you might find wet and sticky on the first few minutes or possibly, a bit tacky afterward. It’s inclined to deliver soft, silky sensation with a plump, supple look. It literally decreases skin sagginess. Astoundingly hydrating, I apply it in the morning prior to heading outdoor. The cream is actually work to prevent the cold, chilly atmosphere from leaching my skin way and leave a glowy, luminous complexion for nearly whole day. There haven’t been any negative signs that the cream could break me out badly or allergic reactions. Otherwise, I’m fairly hesitate the product often brings about the greasiness upon my T-zone in the middle of the day. That isn’t too overwhelming but I just worry that dirt, debris and pollution can have chance to be stuck on and penetrate to my skin. Recently, I get some minor bumps and zits on my forehead.

As mentioned before, the product should follow toner and serum, it utterly binds skin in moisture. Without a doubt, I’d highly recommend the cream to those who have dry, flaking skins. The product contains many chemical, artificial fragrances, which are more likely to trigger irritation and swelling. I don’t like the smell at all, it’s indeed very strong, floral scent.

Normal and combination can also go for it. Speaking of oily, blemish prone skin, you can feel free to experience. Apply really small amount and spread out all over face. It’s good to try in this freezing time of winter. But, in warm, hot weathers, it tends to magnify shine and greasiness onto the surface and bring about enlarged, clogged pores.

3. Packaging

The cream comes to a simple, plastic jar, which is tough to withstand physical damage. Regardless of the position that you can lay it down, the fluid won’t mess up or smear around. The one I got here is small size (14 ml), the jar is really tricky you know. At the first sight, I thought a great amount of fluid was housed inside, the reality is the jar gives too much idle gap inside and the cream occupies flattening space above. I think that is unnecessary and hope for much smaller one with less idle gap for travelling. Surprisingly, the full size is 50 ml with considerably big, kinda tall jar.

The cream is really awesome to deliver a vigorous emollient protective barrier onto skin against the nasty dryness, particularly in arid, cool weathers. I’m considering to switch to another moisturizer with more lightweight consistency for my summer break and wish for soothing, calming ingredients infused because my skin is really sensitive to the external aggressors. Additionally, its overwhelming scent really makes matter to me. I’ll give it 7 out of 10.
