Imagine if you're a sick child whose family has to choose between eating and your medical expenditures? What if you lose a family member to a disease that would seem trivial in somewhere like America, but there is no adequate treatment in a less developed country overseas? These are awful situations, and unfortunately, they're just too common. Sometimes we don't think about it, but the state of healthcare in the world is that very many people can't receive it, through no fault of their own.
