Masculinity Stereotypes - We are all suffering-

Tags: boy egypt emotion
If there is a book called " Conditions of toxic masculinity" then I guess all of the Egyptian males had read it and followed it and a small percentage of them suffering.

I had always focused on how women can be judged, defined and abused, but I never looked to males, do they suffer like us?  Do they face what we face? Well, it’s a yes, they suffer from stereotypes like we do.

Normally, if you are living in a country where girls should all be identical, in appearance, style and brains and that there are haunted traditions chasing them everywhere plus stereotypes, then as result; of course males suffer from the different set of values of how to be a man.

We don’t have the idea of how to be yourself, and how society should accept you and support you whenever you are not harming yourself or other. I don’t want to be negative and talk bad about Egypt, however,  it's a problem worldwide that you can face in Egypt is found in other many countries, but when it comes to Egypt, it does get worse due to the ignorance and unawareness of citizens.

Do boys even care about that stuff? Do they feel if they are insulted somehow?

Boys feel insulted by Toxic Masculinity. Let us switch the positions and make you the victim of the insult, how would you feel if girls were forced to wear modestly in school in order to not distract you from studying? How would you feel if you were treated as an animal that piece of flesh should be covered so you don't touch it? I hope you’re  feeling insulted, and I hope you can stand with women rights to wear anything they like and empower by convincing society that the only way to prevent rape is by arresting them.  So here is where feminist boys start to appear, standing with equality rights and giving women her rights.

Stereotypes in Egypt affected us so badly, that unfortunately, you find boys keep making fun of other boys who may be different than them, standing put is good, but in Egypt difference is being irregular, thumbing and off-beat.

Boys can't and should not cry, boys should not show their emotions to their loved ones, boys should not wear makeup, boys should not wear specific colours, boys shouldn't put lotions or hand cream or anything of self-care products.” WE JUST FEEL IT IS NOT MASCULINE BUT WE DONT HAVE A VALID REASON”.

Hiding emotions under the surface and pretending to be tough,  society supports hate and anger emotions rather than supporting love emotions for guys, and you keep asking what is "violence against women resulted from? Let me answer it for you, resulting from the wrong education. We have been brainwashed to a lot of things that we are bounded to it and its choking us, isn’t it about time to cut off those ropes?

Homophobia! ALL OF OUR POPULATION IS HOMOPHOBIC.  We keep bullying gay men, men who wear makeup or what called so-called feminine colours. I’ll  just be like: are using "gay" as an insult?  Can you just mind your business? The most disgusting thing that I  can’t say that I support LGBTQ without people going “ so you are lesbian”? It doesn't mean that I’m lesbian if I supporting them, and supporting them is not hurting them.

Society is insecure about guys self-care issue,  people should take care of themselves, self-care is not for females only but for all because all should take self-care in considering. Will you be a man if you don’t take shower every day and put lotion or any moisturizer? I  guess there is no valid proof that guys should not take care of themselves.
